Yeah, so apparently I got a D (one grade from failing) my "computers" class exam. What that class consisted of was a backwards history of computers, and instruction of all the features you would never use in Microsoft Office (sparkly text anyone?).
Now, off to do my summer assignments. I remember a simpler time when summer vacation didn't involve schoolwork.
Tomorrow is going to be the longest day ever. I have a Health exam and a Spanish exam. I think I'm going to die.
So, sometimes you have those substitutes in school who think they know something. Currently in Biology we are learning about Meiosis (how sex cells are made), and part of the process is called 'crossing over.' This is when sperm (or eggs) "trade" chromosomes, and that is why we are all different.
Mr. Substitute decided that 'crossing over' was how spirits from the dead crossed into the afterlife. I didn't think I would ever laugh that hard in school again.
That was, until he told us a story about how he caught a girl reading the Kamasutra in class one time. I didn't laugh as hard, but that must have been embarrasing...

So, I tried the Rasterbator today. Needless to say, it won't work with white backrounds. I'll try again soon...
I have been 'forced' for homework to write a letter to someone on the county council asking them to give money to the school for improvements. I had to pick from a list of examples on what to write about. I really doubt this is legal, and if it is, it is in no way moral.
The teacher was bribing us with hopes of 'a computer for every student' and 'asbestos in the wall will kill you.' She put on this nice little look of hopelessness that made it look as though we were all going to hell. I don't know if I should just write the letter, or stand up and say no. If I knew I had an accurate cause I'd be all for it, but I don't want to look plain stupid.
Maybe I can also write another letter stating that they should look into replacing the teachers because they are not acting upon conduct or what is right with the law.
Tommorrow is going to hurt. It already does, seeing as I cannot spell the word.
I have Communication Technologies and Intro to Computers. The latter being I don't need, and the first (need a fancy word!) something that will be a trip back in time. Learning about old technologies like TV and radio should be a laughing matter, but thus they keep pushing it on us. Maybe I can use new media to my advantage. And show off my photoshop skills...
Though the Liquify Filter will yet again come to my defeat. Everyone uses it and thinks they are nice. I need to learn a new trick other than my little gradient lines matrix spider web. But that's besides the point. *runs to do laundry*
