I recently emailed Gerry Dee of Last Comic Standing fame, and he has agreed to do an interview on my podcast! I'm really excited. Other than being hilarious on LCS, he also does motivational/comedic speaking for middle and high schools. I am interested to see what a typical presentation to students from him would be like.
I've also learned from this that getting interviews is really, really simple. And in this case, so simple it hurts. I sent a two or three paragraph message to him only to get this back:
I want the power to do that!!!
Someone came to my podcast's website searching for the term "naked springer." I had recently posted an episode called '#82 Jerry Springer Half Naked.'
I was recently featured on thatsthenewthing.com's spiderman 3 section for my podcast's review of spiderman 3.
Wordpress stats are so awesome...
Going to pick up the first two books of the Read and Watch
I'm getting
The Areas of My Expertise - John Hodgman (PC Guy!)
and
*edit* Anthem - Ayn Rand (summer reading for school)
And if anyone wants to buy me Duck Season on Amazon for $1.80, feel free!
P.S. -- Last Comic Standing starts tonight!
We need you (not the TIME Magazine you, but actually you!) to give us suggestions for books and movies for our growing list of things we will read and watch over the course of the summer. The list is currently on this page.
Take your pick on where you will leave a comment to add your suggestions to the list. We obviously need more movies.
Thanks for your input!
Heroes is over, and they should never make another episode of it. Enough is enough, and they will crash and burn with the backstory next season.
I want to start a new podcast that actually has a point and serves a cause, but I can't put my mind on something I can be consistent with. I really don't feel like wasting this summer, but it's shaping up to be that way. But who knows? Maybe one of the existing shows will hit it off and we will become world famous. Nothing wrong with a little hope, eh?
I can always just become an Uno champion.
unprotopodcast.com is launched as of today...
An open letter to Billy Hime:
Dear Billy,
Billy. Your people skills, are horrible. You don't ask a girl like Leah how much RAM she has in her computer. She thinks Google Earth is amazing. I was going to do a "like-count" on her, but I figured it would be inaccurate because I couldn't even tell when she said it, it was getting to be as bad as like, every like, other like, word...like!
You also can't call yourself thetorrentguy. You torrent Desperate Housewives...*no further explanation necessary*
Maybe next time on your show you can just sit there for a half hour and say "HTTP."
And no, you only really do 2 podcasts. Not 6. You've probably been on a third to about a half of the 95 episodes. Techline has been dead for a good five months. And I don't even have to mention Noobatronic or Shut up, Get Naked.
Sincerely,
The guy that would unsubscribe if he wasn't your friend. Booyah!

Saturday night was just...pointless. Aaron and I went to Tommy's house to do nothing at all. We get there and for no reason at all he starts to argue with his dad. Maybe I was just mentally high, but for the life of me I could not figure out what was going on.
So eventually he must have won the argument, and for some reason we are going out into the freezing cold to "walk around." At this point my little "we are in the ghetto, and are gonna walk around at night" flag goes up.
All in all it is decided we are going to climb onto the roof of an elementary school. It is actually pretty easy, and the roof is covered in ice. Good times. Until we decide to climb down. There is a guy about...25 yards away throwing something away in a dumpster. We didn't think he saw us, so we climb down and walk around the school, screwing around for about 10 minutes.
We get back around to start walking back, and we now see an additional car next to Dumpster Man's car. We get about 50 yards from it and we realize it's a cop. We didn't think he saw us, but we cut through the woods anyway. Some ingenuity by Tommy suggests we take a back way around to his house, and it turns out we avoid the police (which we see down the main road parked near his house!). Woohoo!
Apparently I am the new founder of the first Vox Podcasting group! Awesome!
This feature must be brand new, as I only noticed it today. This should be pretty awesome and I'm sure I'll find some new friends in podcasting.

Yeah, I'm gonna vidcast my way along through my case modding of my iBook. I should be posting the video this week once after I get the website running...
