I went to the Markethouse downtown (Annapolis) today, and I realized it was the first time I had been there since they completely renovated it. There is now a bank (wtf?!?!?!?!?!) where the fish market used to be. At least it replaces the smell (x.x).
I got fish and "chips" at some little stand called Galway Bay. The fish was freaking awesome, but they just give you normal french fries. It's not the end of the world, but I really like the little round thin version better. The fish was really cracking though.
I think we have some leftovers because it took them forever to fill our order, I'll take a picture if we do...
In government we are learning about domestic policy and public programs. Our teacher was reading this article to us in class today.
Everyone was pretty quite (amazingly) until this part:
"Just beyond the city limits, a massive new mall and condominium complex going up in Parole will feature women's clothier Anthropologie, a new Whole Foods, a hotel and hundreds of condos. Meanwhile, Westfield Annapolis is planning a huge expansion that will send it past Arundel Mills and make it the county's largest mall."
At this point, the dubbed "anorexic whore" pipes up with "Annapolis is gonna be bigger than Arundel Mills!?"
Needless to say, we know what 'side' of the city she is from...
My one resolution for 2007 is to have 1,000 listeners to my podcast. One year of screwing around is over, and it's time to get heard. My show is here. I'm going to try to gets interviews with the X-Ray Dogs and the Majestic Twelve to start. From there, who knows? A new website, A new theme, anything is possible.
My prediction of 2007 is a christian revival in Annapolis. If Luc Gingras stays in Annapolis, he will tear that city apart. That guy is crazy...
